Newport Beach at South Orange County - Local Housing Market Update

 

Newport Beach now has 618 homes listed for sale.  412 of those are single family detached, and others are condos. 

Newport Beach has lots of upscale and pricey homes with average asking price for all 618 at $2.3 million, and average time on market for those listed is 127 days.

52 of the Newport Beach homes are short listings (8.4% of market), and only 7 Newport homes for sale are bank owned after foreclosure.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

61 Newport Beach homes sold in June 2010 (which is less than ten percent of number of homes now for sale).

Perhaps because such of high asking prices, market time is slower at Newport Beach, and it would take about ten months for the market to theoretically sell all homes now listed.
