Irvine Real Estate Market with Improving Signs - January 2011

Irvine real estate update 

The IRVINE California real estate market was improved during January 2011 as compared with last year January 2010.Woodbridge south lake

112 IRVINE homes were sold on the local real estate market last month during January 2011.

  • Average sold price for Irvine homes January 2011 was $685,050 January 2011
  • 57 of those sold homes were single family residential, and others were condo homes
  • Average size of Irvine sold homes during January was 1996 SF
  • Average sold price per SF was $336
  • Average time on market was 116 days
  • 9 of the sold homes were bank owned after foreclosure
  • 26 of the sold homes were short sales

same time last year 

Compare to last year January 2010 when 95 IRVINE homes were sold. 

  • Average sold price for Irvine homes January 2010 was $601,162  
  • 38 of those sold homes were single family residential, and others were condo homes
  • Average size of Irvine sold homes during January 2010 was 1745 SF
  • Average sold price per SF was $330
  • Average time on market was 90 days
  • 10 of those sold homes were bank owned after foreclosure
  • 24 of sold homes January 2010 were short sales

Even though IRVINE's home resale market for January 2011 shows positive signs, we hope for more upward momentum next month.
