Irvine CA Real Estate Owners Should Be Optimistic About Values
Home owner/sellers at Irvine CA real estate should be optimistic about property values and that they can list and sell at good prices.
Owners and sellers should have correct information about the local market, be positive about property values, and that they are in control of what they and their Realtor agents can do to market and sell the properties.
During 2006 - 2,034 Irvine homes resold for the year - average of 169 sold per month - average sold price of $789,059
During 2007 - 1,694 Irvine homes were resold for the year - average of 141 homes sold per month - average sold price of $798,791
During 2008 - 1,680 Irvine homes resold for the year - average of 140 resold per month - average sold price of $715,503
During 2011 through October 31 - 1,715 Irvine homes sold - average of 171 homes sold each month - average sold price of $642,888
So while the average resold home price at Irvine CA real estate was down 19.5% since the peak market year 2007, that moderation is much less than at most other Orange County and California cities.
Irvine CA has more than 190,000 jobs for workers, continues to sell more real estate than at other Orange County cities, and 21 percent more Irvine homes are being sold this year during 2011 as compared with 2007 market peak.
