Housing Issues to Watch This Year at All Local Markets

Housing Issues to Watch in this 2010 New Year

Mortgage rates - The Federal Reserve has kept mortgage rates low this past year by committing to purchase up to $1.25 trillion in mortgage-backed securities.  Will that continue?

Fannie, Freddie and the FHA - Almost 9 out of 10 mortgages are backed by these US government giants.

Loan modifications - The Obama government has ambitious plans.

More loan resets - Will this be time of the coming wave of option adjustable-rate mortgages that will jump?

Income Tax credit and home sales - Sales were fueled last year because of the $8k tax credit.  How long will this market happiness go on?
