California Non-Resident Property Owners Must Have Income Tax Withheld on Revenue from Properties

Beginning January 1, 2010, property managers must withhold 7% of all income, that exceeds $1,500, on California properties owned by nonresidents, which would be sent to the nonresident property owners, unless the owner qualifies for reduced or waived withholding.
