Irvine Home Sales Up and Continue to Lead the Way - Orange County Housing Market Rebound

Irvine homes sales continue to lead the way for Orange County housing market recovery during March, 2010.
  • All 8 Irvine zip code areas had sales volume increase vs. same time last year. 
  • Sales volume gains at Irvine zip areas were up between 30% and more than 400%.
  • 92618 at Oak Creek zip area had more than 400% sales volume gain.
  • 7 of the 8 Irvine Zip code areas had year over year sales price gains during March.
Orange County homes experienced median sold price gains of 12% and sales volume gain of 9% as compared with March 2009.  75% of the OC zip areas had sold price gains during March 2010 v. March 2009.
 
Because of huge buyer demand for housing at Irvine, CA, we expect this trend favoring sellers and housing market recovery to continue.
