"Taxifornia" - Perhaps True Description for Golden State - Seeming to be Hungry for More Laws and Taxes to Impose
Sad that California is facing historically high unemployment at 12.6% and also high underemployment at the same time.
More taxes normally change incentives for people and businesses. Fewer people will be expected to focus on being prosperous, work hard, save, invest and entrepreneurial. Businesses and entrepreneurs change their attitudes and are sensitive to higher taxes.
California should be tax-competitive with other states and encourage business and economy development.
