Orange County real estate and home selling prices did well during this past decade ~ from 2000 to December 31, 2009. The median OC home sold price went up 105% during that time.
Anaheim’s 7 ZIP code areas averaged more than 100% home sold price increase during that same decade.
According to the Wall Street Journal, since the end of 1999, stocks on the New York Stock Exchange “have lost an average of 0.5 percent a year, thanks to the twin bear markets this decade.”
So NYSE stocks lost three percent of value during this past decade … while Anaheim, CA, homes sold prices went up more than 100%.
