Crystal Cove Beach Cottages Planned for New Phase of Renovation - South OC

My wife and I have spent many late Sunday afternoons walking and running on the sand and trails at Crystal Cove State Beach, and it's a special place.

 

Now Crystal Cove State Park beach cottages at South Orange County are now scheduled for Phase II renovation.

 

This beautiful area of beach cottages is owned by the State of California and located south of Corona del Mar and just north of Laguna Beach.

 

Crystal Cove has been a great place for fun, walking on the beach, family gatherings, body surfing, ocean fishing, a bit of romance and watching sunsets.

 

Now more of the old run down cottages are scheduled to be restored and open to the public for use and rentals, hopefully by summer 2011. 

 

It's good that these renovation plans include use of private money and charitable donations and not that of CA taxpayers.
