Irvine, CA, home values and housing market update

Irvine, CA, housing market update information for the 22 business days ending January 25, 2010. 

• Two of the 8 Irvine zip code areas had number of home sales up and median sold price up.
• 7 of the 8 Irvine zip areas had increased sales from last year.
• Irvine 92618 (Oak Creek) had volume sales increase of 200% vs. last year, which was one of the largest jumps in the county.
• Irvine 92606 (West Irvine) was only zip area at Irvine down in number of sales from last year.
• Sold prices at all 93 OC zip code areas were up 13.3% from last year.
• Sales of number homes at OC were up 9.1% from one year ago.

It appears that Irvine continues to lead the way in the recent home sales rebound at Orange County.
