US Government Wants More Permament Home Loan Mods - will Change its HAMP Program

US government ruling on change to HAMP government loan mod program.

 

The Obama administration has struggled to get temp loan mods into permanent ones.

 

The government will overhaul the program and require homeowners to document their incomes prior to trial mods  granted - perhaps make it easier after 3 months to move toward permanent loan mods.
