Landlord Decision Whether and How to Best Sell Rental Property

Property owners who are landlords have various reasons for selling rental property.

Some owners want to manage and stay near the property, and others want to move away from the area.

Other owners want to get out of the current burden of time and money to take care of the properties.

Some folks want to avoid losing money where rents are low and vacancies are high.

Other owners want to buy something different, and some want to cash in and get out.

Regardless of motive to sell, real estate investors will need to seriously consider and deal with the income tax aspects of the sale of their property.
