President Obama Proposed Reduction in Home Mortgage Interest Tax Deduction for Certain People

President Obama has presented his proposed US budget plan for fiscal year 2011.

Included in the proposed budget is a provision to reduce the mortgage interest income tax deduction for those people earning more than $250,000.

The California Assoc. of Realtors and REALTOR.org are strongly opposed to this provision, and leadership meeting with Congressional representatives as soon as possible to urge lawmakers to oppose this also.
