CA Governor's State of State Message and Proposed Spending and Budget Cuts

Gov. Schwarzenegger predicted another year of budget battles, more spending cuts, and promised that job creation and fiscal reform would be his focus in 2010.
 
Governor's four-part plan for job creation in the Golden State:
 
1.  $500 million jobs package that is estimated to train 140,000 workers and help create 100,000 jobs;

2.  A California measure to streamline the permitting for construction projects that have already completed environmental reviews;

3.  State homebuyer tax credit of up $10,000 for the purchase of new or existing homes; and

4.  California State sales tax exemption for green tech manufacturing equipment.
