HUD Announced Changes for FHA Homebuyers and Increasing Minimum Qualifications

US HUD and its FHA outlined changes coming for homebuyers.

 

Policy changes include: 

• Raising the up-front mortgage insurance premium. 
• Raising the minimum credit score requirements. 
• Reduce allowable seller concessions.

These changes will be effective this spring 2010 and make it even more challenging for FHA homebuyers.
