Southern CA Counties Combined Home Sold Prices Were Up in December, 2009

Southern CA house and condo home sold prices rose December, 2009, for the first year-over-year increase since 2007. 

 

Number of sales of foreclosed homes declined, and more properties sold in pricier markets.  

 

The median home sold price was $289,000 in December, 2009, which was up 4 percent from a year earlier according to MDA DataQuick.

 

This rise of home sold prices vs. a year earlier was the first at combined counties, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura, since August 2007.
