Irvine Continues to Lead the Way in Local Housing Market Recovery

Irvine had 5 of the Orange County zip areas with doubled homebuying activity for 22 business days ending December 16, 2009, as compared with the same 22 days during 2008 (per www.DataQuickNews.com).

 

92602 - 116% increase in number of homes sold

92604 - 190% increase

92612 - 150% increase

92614 - 135% increase

92618 - 156% increase

 

Orange County did well with homes sold during that same time and had an 11.5% increase from last year.

 

Irvine is the economy and employment powerhouse city at Orange County, CA, leading the way in recovery of the local housing market.  We expect this trend to continue.
